If you plan to be married at the Clerk’s Office located in the Circuit Court Annex in Upper Marlboro I can meet you there.  Pictures can be taken of the ceremony and at the beautiful lake across the street.  If you are planning a reception or gathering afterwards that photography can also be included.

Photo Shoot with DC model Patrick Amara

Patrick Amara is a fashion and physique model.  Pictures were taken a few hours before he flew off to the west coast to enjoy his birthday and the Christmas holidays.  More of his work can be seen on Instagram.

After shooting several sessions outdoors we went into a residence hall near the University of Maryland in College Park.  I wanted to take advantage of the shadows in the room and the mood they provided.

Near and Far – Sitting Side by Side

father-son-african-american-muslim
One of my favorite images taken at Million More March in Washington, DC years ago. I like how close the men are sitting though there was plenty of room on the wall. Not sure if they are father and son or just close friends. They are sitting side by side but seem to be miles apart in thoughts. Nevertheless, bond by affection. What do you think?

This is from our 3rd photo shoot.  Due to busy schedules it is difficult to find time to shoot. When time does permit we are both pleased with the results.

The first image was taken in existing light.

Senior Portraits – It’s All About the Graduate

Senior Portraits – Gleeful image of a college graduate during her photo shoot.

Smiling young female college graduate - African American
During the session we take the standard cap and gown images and then we take creative shots that express the graduate’s personality. Pictures are taken in studio and in various locations of the graduate’s choice.

It’s all about the graduate as we celebrate his/her accomplishment.

Engagement Portraits

Jameal and Doug

Fun engagement photo shoot with Doug and Jameal at the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor, Maryland a few years ago.  It was a late afternoon, early evening shoot.  We started outside near the water with views of Washington, DC in the background.  We then chose locations inside the beautiful Gaylord Hotel.

As night fell we found a place in the gardens outside – the perfect place for a proposal picture.

A few years have passed and now Doug and Jameal are a happy married couple and parents of a beautiful baby boy.Engaged couple at National Harbor DC Engaged couple at National Harbor, MD Continue reading
